There ended up being an issue with the appraisal on the home I ultimately purchased (something to do with the previous owner not filing for a building permit with the city for work done in the past). It was no one's fault but it had to be addressed before we could close. Pete went above and beyond to find a solution for the issue. He fought tooth and nail for me to make sure I got to closing in the time needed. He was always keeping in contact with both myself and my realtor to make sure we were all kept in the loop.
