About Denise
I began my mortgage career in 1987 at a Savings and Loan, long before automation like LP and DU. Over the years, I’ve held roles across the entire lending process such as loan processor, underwriter, closer, branch manager, and even worked on a six-month accounting conversion project. From 1993 to 1996, I served as a branch manager while also participating in community outreach and the local Chamber of Commerce in the Edgebrook-Sauganash area of Chicago.From 1997 to 2008, I transitioned to wholesale lending, where I managed secondary financing, trained staff, developed loan flow systems, and played a key role in company expansion. I prepared underwriting guides for 14 investors, underwrote conventional loans, locked rates, and supported operations in up to 23 states. My role also included onboarding new offices, training Regional Vice Presidents.Between 2008 and 2016, I worked in retail banking in assistant management roles and earned Six Sigma certification three quarters in a row while at PNC Bank.Outside of work, I enjoy motorcycle rides on country roads, catching live bands, attending car shows, hiking, exploring nature, and reading autobiographies. Most of all, I love spending time with my husband and our two wonderful daughters - they’re the heart of my world.
