We recently purchased a condominium on a VA loan. Cortni was our intial contact with Rocket Mortgage. She was very engaged and extremely helpful during the approval process. She stayed in constant contact with us and our realtor during this process. My only negative with Rocket (no fault of Cortni) was the final process of underwriting and closing approval for the loan which was delayed and caused...We recently purchased a condominium on a VA loan. My only negative with Rocket (no fault of Cortni) was the final process of underwriting and closing approval for the loan which was delayed and caused us to extend out Contract to purchase at least 3 times which we felt was totally unnecessary given the extensive approval intake process. These underwriting and closing approval delays could have resulted in contract breach on our part and loss of our deposit.
