Almost All went well with my recent refinance experience with Devin. During our initial conversation, Devin communicated that very little to no funds would be needed at closing. Throughout the process, preliminary closing documents indicated funds would be needed to which Devin assured would be minimal. These numbers varied around $3,800 to $4,000+. Throughout the process, preliminary closing documents indicated funds would be needed to which Devin assured would be minimal. These numbers varied around $3,800 to $4,000+. At closing I paid approximately $13.84. After closing I realized the the true payoff amount had been used for the loan and there was still a balance on the old loan for which I am still responsible for. I have previously refinanced twice and have never had this happen. With the original loan and refinance loan both being through Rocket mortgage,,, I do not understand how the actual payoff was not paid during this process! Did not seem to understand the urgency in my loan. He left the office for three days with no communication to me while we were in the middle of trying to close alone. He also told me the wrong closing dates numerous times and the wrong dates for when I would receive my money.

Lack of communication no sense of urgency. Called, texted, emailed but nothing. Thankful that the Rocket app works well because this was the ONLY way I could get answers or information. 5 stars for the app.
