Peter tried to be very pleasant but made the process so much more difficult than it had to be. Seemed to just be concerned about "checking the boxes" rather than tailoring the process to the individual situation. I was a co-signer on this loan. I understood wanting the W-2's/paystubs. I am winding down my work as I ready for retirement. Of course this was going to show decreasing income. I informed Peter of this ahead of time. I was ready to supply Peter with a simple Proof of Funds document which should have sufficed for the Underwriters. The process lingered on and on/was made way more complicated than it needed to be.
