Alyssa provided tremendous support during my mortgage process. I was purchasing a property that had to go through Probate Court in Massachusetts, which took over 1 year with the Court due to COVID. She conducted monthly calls which transitioned to weekly calls for updates and follow-thru as the situation warranted. I was skeptical of using Rocket Mortgage. Because of the size of the company I was afraid that the I would get passed around to different people who didn’t care about me at all. Alyssa was patient, persistent without being pushy. She listened and responded instead of hustling and pitching. She was personable but professional. It was a good experience.

She did not try to trap me with an aggressively high deposit too early in the process and was willing to lower the deposit amount since a competitor tried to hold me hostage with another deposit.

I sensed her eagerness and a touch of "toughness" due, I suspect, to the fact that she must deal with so many people, and with people of all sorts. We prospects can slip away when they think it's a done deal. I'm sure it's a wearisome role. She handles it with grace and poise.

I contact Alyssa about getting pre-approved for a mortgage.

Alyssa has an extremely nice phone manner and was extremely responsive at first.

Alyssa told me that the process should take a day or two.

Unfortunately, the process has dragged on for a month.

The last contact I had with Alyssa, she had asked me to send in some more paperwork, - I emailed it to her with a request to confirm ...I contact Alyssa about getting pre-approved for a mortgage.

Alyssa has an extremely nice phone manner and was extremely responsive at first.

Alyssa told me that the process should take a day or two.

Unfortunately, the process has dragged on for a month.

The last contact I had with Alyssa, she had asked me to send in some more paperwork, - I emailed it to her with a request to confirm receipt. That was 11 days ago.

I have since called another lender, that got me preapproved on the same day.

He told me that Rocket Mortgage are fine if you have a cookie-cutter situation, - but as soon as it's a little different, they do not know how to deal with it.

I just wish Alyssa could have been more communicative about the situation, so that I could have gone elsewhere sooner.
