I had already begun a mortgage with another lender, but it was WAY to expensive. I'm self employed & didn't have this years taxes done. I contacted Christian Porter at Rocket Mortgage and they simply confirmed I HAD sent my taxea and gave me a standard loan with a rate that was 2.5 points BETTER ! My potential payment for a 160k loan went from $1,256 with the other guys, down to $802 for a 180k ...I had already begun a mortgage with another lender, but it was WAY to expensive.
