My previous mortgage was at Rocket Mortgage so I decided to use them for my new build. Joe was great in the beginning. He was very attentive, thorough, and quick to respond. On the back end of the process, things got a little frustrating. Joe was great to work with! he answered my questions and was always quick to respond. My only complaint is that there were too many different people to deal with that didn't seem to communicate with each other. Joe was great though and would definitely use them again.

Joe communicated well but never had a complete answer for my situation. He constantly moved blame to others in the process and could not provide the details needed to complete the transaction the way I had it structured. Too much back and forth.

Not my first mortgage with rocket but a terrible experience. They charge fees to verify thing, these things they had me verify several times. Set up the closing and didn’t upload the documents in the portal so neither me or the title company could get access to close, rescheduled all the while I’m paying interest on the money they were screwing up documents on. I chose Rocket mortgage because I have dealt with them for over 24 years with mortgages and refinancing and have always been treated fairly and with respect. Unfortunately after this experience with Joe and his team, repeatedly lying to me, repeatedly asking the same question or requesting the same documents 2 and 3 times. I did finally get to close, however I will never use Rocket mortgage ...I chose Rocket mortgage because I have dealt with them for over 24 years with mortgages and refinancing and have always been treated fairly and with respect.
