Rocket Mortgage was not our first choice for getting a mortgage. As first-time homebuyers, my wife and I were afraid that a large online mortgage lender couldn’t provide the same personal attention or customer service that small bank or credit union could. John provided customer service that exceeded all expectations. My wife and I probably asked him ten billion questions. He always responded quickly and was able to explain the mortgage process in a very plain and easy-to-understand way. I was always surprised when I’d call John and, without delay, he’d tell us the status of our mortgage. We felt like his only clients.

John MacKenzie’s professionalism and commitment to his clients, combined with Rocket Mortgage’ online ease-of-use, made the mortgage process virtually stress free for us. I decided to try Rocket Mortgage for a mortgage because I had heard that they were great to work with. I was super impressed from the first phone call through closing on our mortgage. The other staff I talked to by phone were always helpful and knowledgeable. My loan went through quickly and perfectly in spite of some issues that other banks didn't seem to be able to deal with. I loved being able to upload my documents and sign electronically, so much easier than trips to a bank. They also kept me updated frequently on the status of my loan.
