"Credit History - current/previous slow payments, judgements, liens or BK" - words taken directly from the loan denial that he provided on the last day of the financing contingency and the day before closing...after the seller, in good faith, made thousands of dollars in repairs for the ...Matt provided a Rocket Mortgage FHA pre-qualification letter to a buyer that didn't qualify for FHA due to

Clearly, he and the buyer both knew that she didn't qualify; the bad credit was there when he provided that letter. Should lenders not have some responsibility in this process? The buyer gets to walk away with the earnest money and Matt gets to move on to the next deal, providing bogus pre-qualification letters to buyers, to see if he can make it work.Read MoreRead Less
