In the rare case that Paul wasn't available, we were immediately referred to another member that would take care of us. I was told that the policy is to get back to customers within 24 hours, but we never had to wait more than a couple of hours, often even quicker than that. This was our first experience buying a home, and Paul helped ease any concerns or nerves we had. All of the aforementioned characteristics are certainly ones you should expect, but often do not receive, from any service provider or company. However, Paul even went above and beyond in a number of ways. These were the actions that ultimately differentiates Paul from others that I have worked with in a similar capacity. First, honesty and transparency. Paul’s unbiased advice allowed me to have critical information in various areas from a home financing insider. This allowed me to make informed and efficient decisions. Second, relationship. Clearly, it is evident that trying to build rapport and deeper relationships with customers is important to Paul. He took the time to get to know not only my wife and me, but also our situation and preferences. To then navigate and ‘hand hold’ us through every phase of the financing process, allowed us to never feel directionless in this journey. Lastly, continuous improvement. Paul asked for feedback on his and Rocket Mortgage’s performance at various points in time. I can only surmise that this was in an effort to improve on any areas where customers thought there could be room for improvement. It is comforting to know that Paul takes into account opinions from his customers and continuously seeks to improve his engagement and service. When I went to the title company for the settlement, I told the closing agent how much I enjoyed my experience working with Rocket Mortgage.
