The last time I bought a house was over 20 years and times have certainly changed when it comes to buying a house. Additionally, we were moving to a new state with their own processes.

We had a long time relationship with a national bank and had initially expected that we would use them for the new loan but the loan advisor was hard to reach and he wasn’t great about explaining what was needed from us or answering our questions about the process.

From the beginning, Ray was very easy to work with. He was quick to respond when we called. He was able to walk us through the process of getting our new loan and we were able to get pre-approved quickly, which was important because the market was so competitive at the time. He took the time to call the sellers’ agent each time we put a bid out on a house.

When our offer on our new home was accepted, he quickly got us locked in on our rate (within the week the rate jumped up). He walked us through the closing process and let us know what to expect.

Looking back, getting our home loan was probably the smoothest part of the process of the entire move. We are happy to recommend Ray to anyone looking for a home loan.Read MoreRead Less
