Let me start by saying I actually didn't wind up going with my refi from Cass -- because of an odd quirk of circumstances I found another provider offering a lower cost loan. Based on my research this was quite unusual since Rocket Mortgage has established a solid reputation as the low cost provider for mortgage loans.

Based on my research this was quite unusual since Rocket Mortgage has established a solid reputation as the low cost provider for mortgage loans.

Having said this, I was absolutely blown away by the service and support I received from Cass at all phases of my loan shopping process. Cass is knowledgeable and responsive and he was able to get me a very competitive loan proposal assembled quite quickly. I'm an experienced mortgage buyer but even so, Cass further educated me on the mortgage buying and selection process. Even after it became clear that I was likely not going with the loan package from Cass, he stayed involved and helped me make sure I was getting the best deal with all loopholes closed from the provider I went with. Cass provided the best service by far of anyone I've ever working with during my many mortgage shopping experiences.


I suspect I have one more home purchase left in me in the years ahead (lake house here I come) and when I shop the for the mortgage for this property, I greatly look forward to working with Cass again.Read MoreRead Less

Cass informed me the local lender wasn't being transparent in the process and CASS was 100% correct. I ended up dropping the local lender and sticking with CASS and Rocket. THE BEST DECISION I COULD HAVE EVER MADE. Cass is not a lender but a FRIEND who cares about his clients and takes the time out to lay out WORST CASE SENERIOS and BEST CASE SENERIOS. You NEVER are surprised by anything dealing with CASS he let's you know UP FRONT what he can and can not do!!! I respect his passion for helping people and HE is the ONLY mortgage lender I will ever work with in the future. The entire team at Rocket is phenomenal!!
