We started working with another mortgage provider to get a refinance loan, and were totally unsatisfied with their process and procedures. Phone calls were not returned, and it was hard to get any response, even through email.
We called Rocket Mortgage, and were a little "gun shy" of another prolonged nightmare with no results. I actually was so hesitant to deal with the whole mortgage process that I paid a much higher interest rate for years. I kept seeing commercials and receiving offers from Rocket Mortgage for a lower interest rate. I decided to go on line and see what I would qualify for. I was very leery when Cass called me so fast. When I talked to Rocket Mortgage I knew I wanted a fixed rate. Cass worked with me to get the perfect one for me and my husband. We did all the paperwork and when it came time to close my husband was a bit Leary the way the closing was handled. By a notary. They either meet you at your house or at a local place.
