Your blood pressure shouldn't go up working with someone. First there was a bait and switch on closing costs as I was looking at companies to refinance. To his credit he fixed that and matched another company. He said he works all the time, but twice I had to go to his backup. Lastly, there was confusion on taxes (it's a newly constructed house). Overall, Dylan was great. There were definitely some bumps in the road making my refi process over two months. Team members would contact me seeming to have no idea of discussions held previously with other team members. I had to repeat some steps of the process as items expired before action was taken. After waiting on hold for almost 45 minutes the rep who answered said it all could be set up on the website. Calling them was only necessary to if there was an issue with the site. When the verification expired, I received notification again from Rocket Mortgage to call the number to set up verification for a second time, I just went directly to the site. Strange that team members would give customers misinformation on that step. In general it seemed I was forgotten about as weeks went by with the website saying "we're working on your loan" then suddenly I received a call at 6 AM asking if I could close that same day.
