John was mostly great. However, the statement up front that there would be no costs to refinance whatsoever is misleading. A big addition to my mortgage is a cost, whether he and others at Rocket Mortgage want to admit it or not.

I was reassured many times that my loan process would be short even though I had already been in the process 2 weeks with another lender and the VA appraisal was already accomplished. I ended up providing documentation easily that Rocket Mortgage had delayed getting. The process took over 3 months to complete.
