Jon was able to get me the exact loan I wanted (8 yr fixed refi of a 15 yr loan) after the Rocket on-line application system refused my on-line request. He contacted me within 48 hrs of the on-line system refusing my request. He got me the locked in rate I wanted (which was 1.25 points better than my 15 yr loan) and with minimal closing costs. Unfortunately Rocket's/Rocket Mortgage's underwriting and closing processing was not smooth or efficient. Nearly 3 months to close what should have been a 45 day slam dunk refi (excellent credit, all required docs sent quickly , clear title & history, LTV 35%, etc). I had to call processing SEVERAL times to have them fix numerous errors on the closing estimates including everything from the loan amount, to lender credits, to fees. Jon was efficient, responsive and answered all my questions. My only suggestion would be to check in once again later in the process, but as that was all automated (or seemingly so), it was fine. Maybe right before the closing would be helpful as I wasn't quite sure how that would work per the in-person visit. All really good though!
