Katherine was great and everything went smoothly. I would have given 5 stars, except for the appraisal. I requested the next appraiser in line because I knew the appraiser assigned and we had had problems. Katherine called the appraiser, who denied knowing me. When the appraiser arrived the first thing she said was, "Good to see you again, McKenzie." Katherine refused the next appraiser in ...Katherine was great and everything went smoothly. Katherine called the appraiser, who denied knowing me. When the appraiser arrived the first thing she said was, "Good to see you again, McKenzie." Katherine refused the next appraiser in line. The appraiser spent all of 10 minutes in my home, took no measurements etc. She threw up the camera and took pictures without looking where it was pointing and said she had all the info she needed. Her appraisal did not have the correct square footage. I have three older appraisals to compare it with. My appraisal came in lower than it should have and cost me about $900 as a result. Kristin Wheeler is well known for coming in low. She has recently appraised a neighbor's home that is being taxed at a taxable value of $80,000 and Kristin's appraisal came in at $48,000.
