We were denied a mortgage because one check was PAID on time but DEPOSITED 2 days late - when someone deposits a check is completely out of our control. I asked over and over again for an explanation or some sort of solution. Shared our extremely personal and very scary experience of what happened that specific month of the "late" payment.
