I was looking into refinancing as the rates are so competitive and completed the Rocket Mortgage info sheet online. Within 5 minutes I got a call from Eric. He was polite, friendly, professional and, most importantly, was not in the least pushy. I was clear that I was shopping around and that we had a long standing relationship with our current lender that we would not break unless the deal was ...I was looking into refinancing as the rates are so competitive and completed the Rocket Mortgage info sheet online. Within 5 minutes I got a call from Eric. He was polite, friendly, professional and, most importantly, was not in the least pushy. I was clear that I was shopping around and that we had a long standing relationship with our current lender that we would not break unless the deal was much better. Eric came through and even when I told him I was going to go back to our existing lender to see if they could match the offer, he remained pleasant, supportive and wished me the best whichever way I went.
We did the numbers and Rocket was determined as the best way to go. Eric steered us through the process and was available no matter how many times I called with what were probably the most inane questions. Throughout it all, it really felt that Eric was on our side and not just a corporate cog in the wheel. By the end of the process, we were talking like old friends. I cannot recommend him highly enough. This is not our first time dealing with mortgages and I have already recommended Rocket - and more specifically Eric - to a number of our friends who expressed an interest in taking advantage of the historically low rates.
