I’m honestly surprised by Jason Bailey’s recent positive reviews because my experience was a nightmare of chasing answers. We’re already Rocket Mortgage customers, so I expected better. So I very much don’t believe any of these reviews to be legit.

On September 27, I reached out to Rocket Mortgage and I was directed to Jason. He said he was working on my application after I unfroze my credit. I ...I’m honestly surprised by Jason Bailey’s recent positive reviews because my experience was a nightmare of chasing answers. We’re already Rocket Mortgage customers, so I expected better. So I very much don’t believe any of these reviews to be legit.

On September 27, I reached out to Rocket Mortgage and I was directed to Jason. He said he was working on my application after I unfroze my credit. I heard nothing until I followed up October 8. He cited a 620 minimum score, but stopped responding when I sent Rocket’s own paperwork showing my score above that. I even offered to add my wife and provided her income and credit information that is far above the required score as he requested, again, silence.

When I followed up yesterday, October 19, he said we needed both incomes, which I thought he had been reviewing all along. I agreed, only to receive a message later on that the texting service with him was “no longer available.” That was it, cut off, non responsive and still not sure what happened.

An honest answer and basic follow-through would have gone a long way. Instead, every update required me to chase him. Really disappointing.Read MoreRead Less
