He lied about what my down payment would be, what my credit score was, and was completely unwilling to take responsibility for it. He claimed that Rocket Mortgage sent the paperwork, not him, that gave one credit score and a down payment. While he, himself, quoted and demanded something way beyond that down payment, hoops to jump through as well that Rocket paperwork didn't, and then acted smug ...He lied about what my down payment would be, what my credit score was, and was completely unwilling to take responsibility for it. He claimed that Rocket Mortgage sent the paperwork, not him, that gave one credit score and a down payment. While he, himself, quoted and demanded something way beyond that down payment, hoops to jump through as well that Rocket paperwork didn't, and then acted smug with "good luck finding someone who will loan you anything."
He also never understood that the apartment rental for temp housing wasn't me renting to others. He thought it was a source of income for me. All he had to do was look at my bank statements provided to see I was paying rent to someone else for that property.
Ask for someone else.
