Unfortunately, Jeremiah only seemed interested in closing the deal for Rocket Mortgage and not guiding me thru my own personal mortgage process. He initially gave me the wrong information on whether I needed an attorney to close on my house. He told me I did not when in fact I did. He advised me to then run title as a first step, possibly costing me extra money but luckily the attorney I selected ...Unfortunately, Jeremiah only seemed interested in closing the deal for Rocket Mortgage and not guiding me thru my own personal mortgage process. He initially gave me the wrong information on whether I needed an attorney to close on my house. He told me I did not when in fact I did. He advised me to then run title as a first step, possibly costing me extra money but luckily the attorney I selected was able to accept the title search. At the bare minimum, that costs me days of coordination, negotiating and extra headaches. Then, he quoted me a closing cost based on a credit report he ran at the initial underwriting and didn’t advise me that this could change if my credit changed. Well, my credit changed at the time when they pulled the final credit report due to completely manageable circumstances. If he had advised me that this could happen, I could have kept my credit card balances low that month in order to keep my credit score up in the month of the closing. In the end, this ended up costing me over $1,000 and was completely avoidable had he had my best interests in mind. He could have offered a closing credit for that amount but instead did nothing. Bad broker. Bad service. Bad outcome. I will look elsewhere for a mortgage next time solely due to him.Read MoreRead Less
