My wife and I started looking into refinancing our house back in May of this year. We went to three different local banks to do this. Joe was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had.After speaking with Joe, I thought that instead of putting our house on the market and finding another house we could stay in the house we made into a home.However, I knew that to really get this process going my wife Jody would have to get on board. I arranged a time that Joe, Jody and myself could get on the phone together. Joe went thru the refinance process with us and explained what would be required of us. He was extremely helpful in answering our questions. Once we decided that this was the best choice for our family, and began the process, Joe walked us thru every step of the application and background.The time it took for us to do the paperwork was actually alot easier than I thought it would be. We are closing our loan on August 8th. I am deploying to South East Asia for a year and am currently in training for this mission. We wanted to do some improvement projects on the house prior to my leaving. To know that Jody wont have to worry about fixing the bathroom downstairs or replacing the window upstairs while Im on this deployment will be a heavy load off my mind.
