Patrick was my loan officer for my recent home purchase. Once I entered into contract, Patrick assured me that he would work closely with underwriting to ensure quick approval. I trusted Patrick, so I wasn't concerned when I didn't hear back from him for a couple of weeks. I sent him an email a few days before our scheduled closing, and asked him to confirm that everything was on schedule. ...Patrick was my loan officer for my recent home purchase. Later that day, I received a phone call from someone else at Rocket Mortgage saying that Patrick had been promoted and this person would be my new loan officer. Patrick had dumped my loan into someone else's inbox without so much as a phone call to let me know what was happening. Very unprofessional! I missed my closing date by a couple of days, and could have lost my deposit. The closing delay caused unnecessary anxiety for the many people who were relying on us to be on schedule.
