Paul was proactive, diligent, and thoughtful during every interaction. The Rocket Mortgage process was an efficient one, from pre-approval, to approval, and ultimately to closing. Its web portal is developed well and plays a critical function in information amalgamation. Paul’s ability to communicate well and manage customer expectations made for an overall seamless experience. All of the aforementioned characteristics are certainly ones you should expect, but often do not receive, from any service provider or company. However, Paul even went above and beyond in a number of ways. These were the actions that ultimately differentiates Paul from others that I have worked with in a similar capacity. First, honesty and transparency. Paul’s unbiased advice allowed me to have critical information in various areas from a home financing insider. This allowed me to make informed and efficient decisions. Second, relationship. Clearly, it is evident that trying to build rapport and deeper relationships with customers is important to Paul. He took the time to get to know not only my wife and me, but also our situation and preferences. To then navigate and ‘hand hold’ us through every phase of the financing process, allowed us to never feel directionless in this journey. Lastly, continuous improvement. Paul asked for feedback on his and Rocket Mortgage’s performance at various points in time. I can only surmise that this was in an effort to improve on any areas where customers thought there could be room for improvement. It is comforting to know that Paul takes into account opinions from his customers and continuously seeks to improve his engagement and service. Great experience working with Paul. I was able to close on my home in 45 days. I am grateful everyday for Rocket Mortgage & Paul's expertise. When I went to the title company for the settlement, I told the closing agent how much I enjoyed my experience working with Rocket Mortgage. My story: Me: 30 yr. bank customer, 6 paid off mortgages, 850 FICO, $4M, in liquid assets. Pre approved for a loan @$350 K. Found a house, 60 days to close.

Bank: Asked for all the same pre approval info again. Suspicious of my deposit and downpayment, asked for the Fidelity account statement 3 ...Paul and the Rocket Mortgage team succeeded where one of the "too big to fail banks " did not.

The week to close came and I was told " underwriting wants another statement of the brokerage account @ Fidelity and will not close until it is presented."

By this time I knew that the Bank underwriters were CYA to disqualify me so as to not admit they were late and for no reason.

So the statements were again presented .There was nothing suspicious. The closing was missed. My Seller missed his closing. The moving company reservation for me and my seller was lost.

Finally 7 days after date to close, the loan was funded. Now new moving reservations, no time to fix up my new home, my seller was in the same boat. It was FUBAR!

Rocket Mortgage and Paul,: Pre-approval easy, process easy , closed within 45 days of start. communication throughout. "MY Rocket Mortgage" worked great.
