Peter is a god among men. He is the hero that we deserve. He managed to close our loan in 15 days. We were unsure if we should work with Rocket Mortgage or a local mortgage lender, and we had to choose carefully because our contract only allowed us a 21 day window to close.

The first few days of the window we thought for sure we’d go with the local lender, so we didn’t keep Peter in the loop about ...Peter is a god among men. He is the hero that we deserve. He managed to close our loan in 15 days. We were unsure if we should work with Rocket Mortgage or a local mortgage lender, and we had to choose carefully because our contract only allowed us a 21 day window to close.

The first few days of the window we thought for sure we’d go with the local lender, so we didn’t keep Peter in the loop about what was going on. The local lender asserted to us that in all his years he had never heard of Rocket Mortgage closing a loan in such a small window and that if we went with Rocket Mortgage we would not make our close and we’d lose our earnest money.

After talking with Peter though, he assured me that he could get the job done. Rocket Mortgage had a better interest rate and lower origination fees than the local lender. We finally ended up taking the leap of faith and we decided to have Rocket Mortgage close our loan. Our real estate agent told us it was a mistake, but we pressed forward. Peter worked nights and weekends to close our loan. It was obvious that he was putting in every effort to get the job done.

Finally one day I got the call from Peter with the good news saying the loan was clear to close. Everything ended up going well at closing and the house was ours! Peter fulfilled all his promises to us and got the job done EARLY despite having such a small window of time to work with. I am so grateful for all his efforts.
