I had worked with Phil on a refi about 7 years ago. It was on an spur of the moment that I decided to send him a email to an address I had last used 6-7 years ago. This was out of the blue when I was considering my recent refi. To my utter surprise, Phil replied right away even on a Saturday morning (I wasn't expecting a reply for a few days, if he even still worked there). Mr. Childerson was a pleasure to work with to set up the refi that I was seeking. He was well informed regarding my prior FHA loan, and what the HARP program offered me. As we were completing our phone call, he humored me and provided additional information on how I could pay off my loan earlier by making larger monthly principal payments. I am now on track to pay off my mortgage in 13 1/2 yrs.
