Steve was very helpful especially with computer. However I am having trouble with the lease. Told him no you don,t pay off lease. Steve came back and said yes people do it okay. So I did well what his associates did not tell him is once you pay off if you have a act of god happen you lose money for rest of lease. I was not aware in advance that there was an issue with my debt to loan ratio. I was going to pay off a home improvement credit card balance with this loan. To adjust the ratio, Rocket Mortgage applied funds that were being dispersed ($45,000 minimum) to my home mortage - reducing my 4% mortgate by $5,000 and adding that to my new loan at 8.5%. If they wanted to reduce the ratio, they should have ...I was not aware in advance that there was an issue with my debt to loan ratio. If they wanted to reduce the ratio, they should have contacted me prior to closing asking what debt I would like to apply that to - not just selecting my lowest interest rate debt.
