Toby was the first to respond to my Rocket Mortgage online inquiry about obtaining a pre-approval letter to utilize during my home search. I had a bit of tough luck in the beginning - - - I would put an offer in on a house but quickly lose it to an all-cash buyer (this happened 3 times). Needless to say, this was very frustrating, but Toby was always checking in to see how the search was coming ...Toby was the first to respond to my Rocket Mortgage online inquiry about obtaining a pre-approval letter to utilize during my home search. Needless to say, this was very frustrating, but Toby was always checking in to see how the search was coming along. Additionally, his positive attitude and sense of humor always lifted my spirits and made me want to continue to look for my perfect home.

When I finally found "the one", I put an offer in. The seller's realtor had some concerns about about accepting my offer, however, Toby went above and beyond and was instantly working with my realtor and writing a personalized approval letter to show the seller's agent that I was a qualified buyer. I truly believe I would have lost this house to another offer had Toby not gone out of his way to do this for me.

This was My first House, I had Zero Knowledge of the entire process. now that i am happy i my new home, i can not overestimate the help Toby provided. He was patient, knowledgeable, and responded pretty quickly when ever i had a question, for more than 2 months he always reached out to me, even after his part was done, all the way till i got my home Keys.

Toby was the first person I talked to from Rocket Mortgage and even though I worked with other people throughout the loan process he was always there when I needed him. He kept in touch always asking how things were going and made sure I stayed on the right path to getting the home I wanted. He also seems to realize that I am human and not just a number by wanting to know about work, family, hobbies etc. I am a single dad and that was a huge thing for Toby trying to get a nice home for my son and myself.

My credit score was not in the best shape but with Toby's help I was able to get a very nice home that I am able to afford ( no more landlord putting money in his pocket) and build some decent equity.

Toby continues to follow up even though my loan has closed and I am moving into my new house.
