Ty was absolutely the worst person I depended on as a representative of Rocket Mortgage. In the beginning he was very aggressive to get the loan started. After a couple of weeks he dropped off the map. He stopped returning calls or texts. He did not keep up with the tasks assigned to me to accomplish. After several weeks of being a complete ghost I was forwarded to his extension and all he said ...Ty was absolutely the worst person I depended on as a representative of Rocket Mortgage. He did not keep up with the tasks assigned to me to accomplish. After several weeks of being a complete ghost I was forwarded to his extension and all he said was Im about to go into a meeting I will call you back goodbye and hung up in my face. He called back the next day and asked me if a task I completed two weeks ago had been done. What? After I had fulfilled every single task and doug my way to each department each person that was necessary to talk to I had to initiate several three way calls with my HOA, insurance company, and the various people at Rocket Mortgage without any help from him at all. This is really the straw, he called me after all things had been cleared saying my HOA had to cover the exterior of the home or Rocket couldnt do the loan, when in fact the insurance company had already sent over the docs that showed the RCV two days prior to his call which cleared that task. I had complained about him to the title company and Rockets insurance department which I believe angered him and he made a call that was totally filled with false and misleading information on purpose. He spoke very rudely to an agent at Shelter Insurance so much so the agent asked him not to speak to him in such a way. This loan took far far toooooo long to close. If I wasnt a former loan officer myself it may not have closed until 2027. His inability to problem solve, consistent communication, and lack of genuine care for us as clients and homeowners was frustrating, not hearing from him for weeks was irresponsible, and made the entire experience dreadful. The only reason I give him a star at all is because he reached out to us and caused us to start the thought process of refinancing, after that he was useless and acted like he could care less what happened to our loan.Read MoreRead Less
