This experience was very different than others with Rocket Mortgage. I feel like there were a lot of half truths told to us during the refi process. I should have done more research and due diligence but I expected more from her. The entire experience was like dealing with a used car sales person. Once she got us to agree to the Refi then she forgot about us, would not answer or return calls ...This experience was very different than others with Rocket Mortgage. I feel like there were a lot of half truths told to us during the refi process. I should have done more research and due diligence but I expected more from her. The entire experience was like dealing with a used car sales person. Once she got us to agree to the Refi then she forgot about us, would not answer or return calls (which is ironic because the email says "I am just a phone call away") would send emails with partial answers to questions. It wasn't until I left a less than flattering review that she finally called back. The intent of the refi was a lower interest rate and to pay off our HELOC while leaving it open, this was communicated numerous times but after the refi was processed we found out that Rocket Mortgage sent the letter to payoff and close the account. We still have the HELOC amount in equity in the home but Rocket Mortgage refused to reverse the letter. Now we have to reapply for the HELOC from the beginning. I could not be more disappointed and feel duped. It seems that the more Rocket Mortgage grows the less they care about the customers. Very much a Wells Fargo type feeling.Read MoreRead Less
