As a rule, I typically avoid non-local banks or loan officers because they’re often difficult to reach and don’t show much investment in the client or the transaction. He even caught an important issue over a weekend and proactively reached out, giving us the time we needed to correct it and still close on schedule. That level of attention and commitment is rare.
