In general I was very satisfied with my experience with Rocket Mortgage. They did a great job with every thing save the one exception of placing a VERY HIGH tax escrow on my loan. At the time (back in Feb), I was told by Josh that this would only be an issue until a review of the actual taxes was made. That event has come and gone, and I have been assured on numerous occasions that this would be ...In general I was very satisfied with my experience with Rocket Mortgage. They did a great job with every thing save the one exception of placing a VERY HIGH tax escrow on my loan. At the time (back in Feb), I was told by Josh that this would only be an issue until a review of the actual taxes was made. That event has come and gone, and I have been assured on numerous occasions that this would be addressed and the $1,000's of dollars in excess escrow that is owed to me would be returned. Here it is 6 months later, and I still have had no resolution on this. Interestingly enough there are about 5 identical townhomes built the prior year in my same HOA that could have been referenced for correct tax information back in Feb, as well as the fact that the county published taxes for 'my specific property' back in May. This is the one part of my loan that Josh helped with, everything else was managed by others, so while I have tried to be as patient as possible on this issue, unfortunately can only give him one-star.
