As a first time home buyer we didn't know anything about the loan proces. We were lucky to find Gino and have him our mortgage specialist. My wife and I had a loan with Rocket Mortgage before we refinanced. In the process of refinancing, Mario took my wife out of the loan without notifying me. I was under the impression that my wife and I were still going to be in the loan because Mario was asking me for all my wife's and my information. In the closing date we received separate packets for me and my wife to sign . I noticed that I...My wife and I had a loan with Rocket Mortgage before we refinanced. In the process of refinancing, Mario took my wife out of the loan without notifying me. I was under the impression that my wife and I were still going to be in the loan because Mario was asking me for all my wife's and my information. In the closing date we received separate packets for me and my wife to sign . I noticed that I was the only person required to be present . I asked the notary why was my wife not signing any papers. She said" She did not know " then I showed her the separate packet that I had received for my wife. The notary then said that might be the way Rocket Mortgage are doing their process. Yes , I know I shouldn't have signed the papers but like I said I was asked for all her information in the process so I thought everything was going to stay the same. I then called Mario and asked him why was my wife's name not on the loan. And the only answer I got from him was that it was better for the refinance . Which I am very disappointed for not being informed about this during the process. He also told me that the only thing we can do to fix this is to refinance again. That he was very sorry . All I have to say now that cannot do anything in my favor to fix this mistake is. Mario you might be very sorry but I am very disappointed about how you and Rocket Mortgage handled this process.
