Dan was great to deal with at Rocket Mortgage! He had a Great Attitude, Courteous, and professional, but there were others assisting him with the loan that needs I think more Training in Customer Service and knowledge of Rocket Mortgage's products!
There were a couple times when I asked a question by phone, and they referred the question over Dan! Over all however, we're thrilled with the results of our loan process! We had a VA loan both me & my Husband served in the Army, so we both had E.O.Bs (Eligibility of Benefits from the VA) with another Company called "Roundpoint Mortgage!"
Roundpoint Mortgage never reached out to us about refinancing until we were about to Close with Rocket Mortgage Loan! We even called Roundpoint before contacting Rocket Mortgage, but we never got a call back from them! Roundpoint did however, offer us more money back at closing to consolidate out bills or for home improvements and we turned Roundpoint down, because we didn't want to wait and go through the hassle of updating our documents with them. Plus Roundpoint, I've never heard about until at closing and I've heard of Rocket Mortgage and their J.D. Powers & Associates Awards for their Company!
I worked for a company and we were always getting recognition from J.D. Power & Associates too for Customer Service, and overall Customer Satisfaction with our product. I know how important it is for a company be recognized and to receive this Award!
Refinancing a VA Loan usually takes longer and requires more paperwork to "Close" on the loan! The Only Real Complaints that I had during this process is that we; my husband and I had to open 2 accounts with Rocket Mortgage which made it confusing when I have a "Notarized DPOA" (Durable Power of Attorney) prepared by an Attorney and signed by my husband so I could "Act" & "Sign" on my husband's behalf!
I brought this up to Dan, but Dan told me we had to have 2 accounts. Both accounts needed to be signed into so I could sign our documents separately. I would like to see moving forward, Rocket Mortgage adopt a way to combine the 2 accounts into 1 account for future Rocket Mortgage customers.
Every once in awhile I would get an email stating there was document(s) to sign or required my attention. I would log into my account and wouldn't see the documents in question.
I figured either the documents were taken care of by myself or Rocket Mortgage earlier just before an email was sent to me and Rocket Mortgage removed the documents.
I forgot that I had 2 accounts to sign into, because most of the work was done on my account. Chase Bank combined mine and my husband's accounts. I only need to sign into my account to work on either mine or my husband's bills or other banking issues. I believe Rocket Mortgage would only need to upgrade their Software to accomplish this for future Customers. I think Docu-Sign has a way to combine the 2 accounts into 1 account. It would be easier to remember the 1 account.
Anyway, Thanks to Dan with helping get us our Loan with a Low Interest Rate! I wish we could've got a way to get more money at closing to consolidate some credit cards we used to when we 1st moved into this home, because the seller (who just flips houses) bought this house which needed repairs at Auction and only minimally repaired this house and added new carpeting, but after the 1st closing we had to do a little updating like putting in a "Walk-in Shower" with "Handicap Bars", because we're disabled Veterans, and my husband couldn't lift his legs over the bathtubs! Plus the tubs, both were 2 small to put a "Shower Chair" in either one of them.
I also applied for a Rocket Mortgage line of Credit and got approved for only about $6,000, but the interest rate was like 23-25% so I declined to take the loan. Anyway, I look forward to the many years we'll have with Rocket Mortgage!
