We started to seriously consider a refinance of our current mortgage on April 30.

There were three primary members involved: Tom was the mortgage banker who handled the initial application and he stayed in touch with us throughout the process. After the loan was underway, he handed off the paperwork collection to a processing specialist. Finally, a closing agent capped off the details at the end.

When it came time for closing, we were on vacation and a notary was arranged to come to our condo that was 300 miles from home. Done deal on May 25. Old mortgage paid off before the June payment was due. New mortgage saves almost $200/month over the prior loan. Plus, they provided a credit of $3K toward closing costs while the loan shaved more than 1.25 points off our APR.

Meghan ran into a skeptic when I first called. I told her I had a negative experience a few months back and would be surprised if things changed is how I began the conversation. Meghan used strong positive words, surrounded by a caring personality and professional service getting my attention in turn making me relax and positive.

To me, it is a gifted individual taking two strangers over the phone and bring comfort and reassurance "we can do this Oman, together" feeling like part of the family.
I never thought to be living in my new home January 8, 2016 from November's first call. I wanted to set an example for my children showing any dream at any age is possible. Meghan's encouragement, and specific information on my part, my dream is a reality and every time I come home, Meghan has my deepest appreciation.

Based on my experience with Rocket Mortgage, I believe they have an almost perfect combination of professional people and technology, their website kept me informed of current status while providing ways for needed documents to be passed to/from me. The website is user friendly and all folks that I talked to were professional, knowledgable and friendly.
