Paul and the Rocket Mortgage team succeeded where one of the "too big to fail banks " did not.

My story: Me: 30 yr. bank customer, 6 paid off mortgages, 850 FICO, $4M, in liquid assets. Pre approved for a loan @$350 K. Found a house, 60 days to close.

Bank: Asked for all the same pre approval info again. Suspicious of my deposit and downpayment, asked for the Fidelity account statement 3 ...Paul and the Rocket Mortgage team succeeded where one of the "too big to fail banks " did not.

Bank: Asked for all the same pre approval info again. Suspicious of my deposit and downpayment, asked for the Fidelity account statement 3 different times( it was an account I had held for 25 years). The week to close came and I was told " underwriting wants another statement of the brokerage account @ Fidelity and will not close until it is presented."

By this time I knew that the Bank underwriters were CYA to disqualify me so as to not admit they were late and for no reason.

So the statements were again presented .There was nothing suspicious. The closing was missed. My Seller missed his closing. The moving company reservation for me and my seller was lost.

Finally 7 days after date to close, the loan was funded. Now new moving reservations, no time to fix up my new home, my seller was in the same boat. It was FUBAR!

Rocket Mortgage and Paul,: Pre-approval easy, process easy , closed within 45 days of start. communication throughout. "MY Rocket Mortgage" worked great.
