I've worked w/Rocket Mortgage on 3 occasions and all experiences were good. Their underwriters aren't always very accommodating - for instance on this loan I'm selling a house I've been in for 25yrs and buying a 2nd condo next door to my condo in Ft Worth (to give me extra space). The two units are right next door to each other, but the underwriters wouldn't believe this wasn't investment ...I've worked w/Rocket Mortgage on 3 occasions and all experiences were good. The two units are right next door to each other, but the underwriters wouldn't believe this wasn't investment property. So they upped my rate some. It wasn't enough to drop the whole thing, but this is the 2nd time this has occurred. I have another condo in Dallas that I purchased for my Daughter/Son going to SMU....it was an 8yr period of time. John was able to answer virtually all the questions raised during the refinance process, and attempted to stay ahead of issues. There were several handoffs between persons that I was not fully aware of, but the two occasions where the handoff resulted in less than full briefing it was resolved within hours.
