With that assurance, I decided to go forward. I was very clear at the very beginning that time was of the essence. Every step of the way, I provided information immediately upon request. The underwriting process took an ordently long time. I told them the whole time that I was in a hurry. There seemed to be no mechanism in the process to expedite the client's request. In the end, they did a very fine job in all respects, and the financing was eventually completed. In the end, the process took five weeks to complete. Zachary reached out to me to see if I needed anything concerning my mortgage. I asked about a heloc. He pulled my credit and said everything looked good. After it looked like we were ready to do something, he would only respond once every couple of days. The first thing I received was a hurry up and lock it in proposal to refinance my mortgage at a stunning 6.75%. Then after I complained about that, he sent a hurry up and lock it in Home Equity Loan at 11.8%. I felt like he was trying to take advantage of me, maybe the company has a goal of trying to eliminate all of the small interest rate loans (he did reach out to me first). Josh was fantastic throughout the entire process. My wife and I bought our first home and he couldn't of made it any easier. He gave us options where we put less money down to have more money to do renovations after we moved in. Also, we ended up having much lower closing costs than we expected.
