I was already an existing customer and this experience started out great. Then I started not hearing back for almost a week and messages were going unanswered and were rushed when we did talk. They were apparently out on PTO and then sick, and I should have been referred to someone else while out but was not. For private sales, there needs to be a checklist to go by when there realtors are not involved. I indicated up front that the sellers did not want realtors involved. When I asked about this option up front, it sounded like it would be no problem and would be seamless. It was unclear what I had to do, what the sellers were responsible for and what Rocket was responsible for. Again many messages went unanswered, surprises came up without knowing who was supposed to do what. Knowledge was lacking and was not proactive, and was instead reactive. Documentation was not recorded correctly and on the last day I had to rush to find a copy of a signed document Rocket did not have published.Read MoreRead Less

Our closing with Rocket was going well up until the day of closing. Since everything was being done remotely, we were not aware we both needed to be present for the notary portion. Made it more time consuming to figure it all out under pressure. After all the trouble, our paperwork was lost after we completed the first closing and had to reschedule again. Extremely helpful and professional. I had a very unique situation as I was purchasing a home from a family estate. Nick was great. He put up with me when I got frustrated by all the hoops I had to jump through, and was extremely helpful when a loan I was not aware of was found on my credit report. It turns out that the original company was sold and changed its name, and I was never notified. Nick was able to help me navigate through all that and eventually got me to the end goal of obtaining my loan.
