My husband and I have worked with Suha since 2014. She is incredibly knowledgeable which translates to a super easy transaction for us. Julie gave me a pre-approval offer for a mortgage on a new home with a soft pull. I found it strange that she was giving me a pre-approval offer that I could use to make an offer on a home but would not give me interest and fee estimates (just pre-approval for an amount). I had other pre approvals that had estimates (with soft pulls) from reputable banks so I was planning to likely go with one of the others, I asked her to send estimated numbers in writing so I could compare her offer. She asked to do a hard pull on my credit and I told I wanted to wait until I am under contract to do a hard pull and want to see what numbers come up 1st. This is with the understanding that the numbers she gives me are only as accurate as the details I am giving her on my finances, and if there is anything I am leaving out that would impact what actual loan I get when credit is hard pulled. (I was transparent with her on aby Qs she had, I have good credit, and I have had the same employer for years). She pulled my credit anyway after I replied to her email saying I wanted to wait and justified her self by saying she had to pull it to give me numbers. She also downplayed my concern by stating it counts for 120 days and all pulls from other lenders in that time frame count as 1. (FACTS: yes, 120 days till a new credit pull is needer, Only 45 days other lenders can pull as one pull). Bottom line it was not her choice to make to pull my credit after I repeated let her know I didn't want a hard pull. I will not be working with her or Rocket mortgage as a result of this experience.Read MoreRead Less
