I cannot begin to explain how much we adore Mike Gunn. After a disastrous experience with another bank that cost us a home we loved, we were at square one again. We filled out a pre qualification with rocket just to have one to submit offers but fully intended to go local until we got to know Mike. We felt so comfortable and he was always available to help. Like, Saturday at 11:00 at night talking...I cannot begin to explain how much we adore Mike Gunn. After a disastrous experience with another bank that cost us a home we loved, we were at square one again. We filled out a pre qualification with rocket just to have one to submit offers but fully intended to go local until we got to know Mike. We felt so comfortable and he was always available to help. Like, Saturday at 11:00 at night talking to us for 45 minutes because we had a question. He also was trapped in a literal hurricane with no power and still texted me back and got on with the person covering his clients for a few days and made sure things were handled correctly. Which we did not ask or expect! He’s knowledgeable, professional, and he actually fights for you and wants you to have the best deal you can. He even helped us get a lower rate a few days before close. Rocket also matched or beat every single local rate. Their online system is extremely helpful if you are like me and need to micromanage where you are in the process. It helps you know exactly where you are and what you have left.

I would highly highly recommend Mike Gunn to anyone. Not only is he a great loan officer but he seems like a good person who genuinely cares.
