I mistakenly assumed it would be a bot of some kind, but I soon realized I was actually chatting with a live banker, not an AI generated script. That banker was Katlyn Hughes. We arranged to speak on the phone a few days after our initial interaction on the website. I liked Katlyn immediately. She was warm, friendly, and professional. There were no questions she could not answer, and her guidance throughout the process of obtaining our loan was a welcome surprise. The timelines Katlyn set forth were met every time, and she never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her when I would text or call her with additional questions. Although Katlyn became our banker by chance, she will be our banker of choice going forward. She definitely made what could have been a very daunting process an easy, uncomplicated one. I would give Kent 6 stars if I could. He was very easy to work with and very helpful with keeping our loan on track. From the beginning to the end he was there when I needed any clarification or guidance with the process. Would definitely recommend to any potential home buyer out there.

I began a VA mortgage application with Kalvin Kalen on October 4th, 2024. The process was relatively easy. Rocket has a web site which I registered for on that day. It alerts you if you need to complete a task. They also have a task bar which lets you know how the application is proceeding. In my case mine was a refinance to clear out a Heloc that got rather expensive and to take out some cash. ...I began a VA mortgage application with Kalvin Kalen on October 4th, 2024. From the 4th of October, application, to the closing date October 21st was just 17 days. Efficient and fast like a Rocket. Thanks to Rocket and my VA benefit.
