Never again! 2 months ago when we first applied for the loan on November 12, the loan was configured to pay off all debt for $400k+ as long as we could get a cosigner and the house was valued at over $500k. Everything asked for was met! I had to pay the $635 for an appraisal I didnt agree with and Rocket didnt even agree with . . Yet it was the excuse that we were told greatly effected our loan ...Never again! 2 months ago when we first applied for the loan on November 12, the loan was configured to pay off all debt for $400k+ as long as we could get a cosigner and the house was valued at over $500k. Everything asked for was met! I had to pay the $635 for an appraisal I didnt agree with and Rocket didnt even agree with . . Yet it was the excuse that we were told greatly effected our loan even though it came back appraised over the $500k! From that point on communication was terrible and things were left out or lied to. I was told 2 bills were not going to be paid . . But actually we discovered at closing that a 3rd one was left out! Our app had been in suspension for weeks! One of the unpaid debt amounts was almost half of our entire debt total!! . . So actually only about half of our debt was paid off! We felt like we were the lowest of priority in finishing our loan and every phone call that we did receive was always late in the day, so we so realized and knew it meant more bad news of what Rocket wasnt going to do for us! Im very very disappointed in the handling of this loan as quotes and original letters sent were not met. Rocket seriously needs to reconsider using a diggerent appraisal firm or to let the customer have a choice if they are to pay for it! It was so u fair yet nothing was done to reject it when it was done wrong! Friends and family will know of my disappointment with Rocket and I will also voice my disappointment to the appraisal company. Im so sorry about this whole experience and feel like we were treated so unfairly and wrong. Since the loan amount was lowered so much we feel we should have never needed a cosigner. Even some errors on the list of debts were never updated with correct balances and we were told another credit pull was done on 12/31 . . Which according to my review was never done. The length of 2 months it took to finally close this loan caused us extra payments and late fees waiting to hear a confirmed date for closing thatwas always changing. We never even knew our loan had been put on suspended status. At that point we knew we were low priority.
