This is an update to my previous review. While I do appreciate the fact that Angela took the time to explain details to me and was patient with me while I was crying and emotional, it turns out that I was in fact entitled (by federal law: Garn St-Germain Act) to keep paying on my mom's mortgage (who had passed away) rather than having to refinance to put it in my name. I have now lost equity, I ...This is an update to my previous review. While I do appreciate the fact that Angela took the time to explain details to me and was patient with me while I was crying and emotional, it turns out that I was in fact entitled (by federal law: Garn St-Germain Act) to keep paying on my mom's mortgage (who had passed away) rather than having to refinance to put it in my name. I have now lost equity, I now have a WAY higher interest rate, I had to pay thousands in unnecessary fees and had to pay more than double what I was paying when my mom passed. I knew it wasn't fair which is why I kept asking but I got rushed into locking in an interest rate because they were climbing. I tried filing complaints and was blown off. I'm consulting an attorney regarding the Garn St-Germain Act but I want others to know so no one else gets taken advantage of when they're emotional and dealing with the death of a loved one like I didRead MoreRead Less
