If I could give Samr (6) stars, I would. He was extremely professional, pleasant, and was highly responsive. Samr is the best that I have encountered over the course of my five closings over the years. I felt like this process was a lot more difficult than any closing that I have had, due to the underwriting team focusing on trivial matters that caused me great frustration. To be clear, if it weren't for Samr, I would have taken my money elsewhere. He was able to talk me off of the walking ledge and help coach me through the process. I would recommend Samr 100% of the time to close friends and family. He made the process work at the last minute, and went to great lengths to pull levers to get us towards the goal line. Generally happy with the process and outcome. At the point where credit counseling was completed and the loan should have moved forward, the credit counseling folks dropped the ball and did not send the needed information to close the loan. This delayed the process by one week and was only resolved after I called customer service as Nic was not responsive to my follow-up inquiries. Frequently called asking for information that had already been given, rude and demanding at times. It was a long drawn out process due to his lack of communication w/other individuals. Thankfully, we finally closed. We were about to stop the entire process.
