One evening I came across Rocket Mortgage on YouTube , just out of curiosity I clicked on page and started filling out form for a loan. I continued filling out but stopped. I assume Jacqueline saw my attempt at filling out the form, she asked if she could help. I thought it was some kind of scam since she asked for my SS # I tried to close but she typed a few words that made me think it wasn’t a ...One evening I came across Rocket Mortgage on YouTube , just out of curiosity I clicked on page and started filling out form for a loan. I continued filling out but stopped. I assume Jacqueline saw my attempt at filling out the form, she asked if she could help. I thought it was some kind of scam since she asked for my SS # I tried to close but she typed a few words that made me think it wasn’t a scam. As we were communicating with each other via messaging, she told me she can save me $$ since she saw what my financial situation is. As soon as she stated that, I thought how could she know about my financial situation. I realized that she got my information via a Rocket Mortgage customer via my name.
Jacqueline worked out what could be paid off and what I could save. I decided to go for it. I have had a great experience with corresponding with Ms Jacqueline throughout my ordeal with my second Rocket Mortgage loan. If I had any problems she would guide me through via text messsge or call. Ms Jacqueline is an awesome benefit for Rocket Mortgage since she’s very knowledgeable of her work. Ms Jacqueline is very friendly and helpful in certain situation. Ms Jacqueline is always in communication with me as the loan is being processed. I consider her a friend after what I went through with this loan. I would definitely recommend her time to others for a mortgage!!Read MoreRead Less

Gary was fine explaining the loan process. But several times I had to point out inconsistent information, like which loans to be paid off and the fact that I did not want excess funds. The goal of our loan was bill consolidation, however, Rocket's process of sending out paper checks for each of the 5 lenders is time consuming, confusing and simply old-fashioned! The checks arrived with no signing ...Gary was fine explaining the loan process. But several times I had to point out inconsistent information, like which loans to be paid off and the fact that I did not want excess funds. The goal of our loan was bill consolidation, however, Rocket's process of sending out paper checks for each of the 5 lenders is time consuming, confusing and simply old-fashioned! The checks arrived with no signing necessary at our front door while we were out of town. Next, we had to verify where of many addresses to send the payoff checks. Rocket just says to use the address on the statements, but this is not always true. Also, the amounts are now incorrect from the current payoff. I had to create a separate cover letter for each of the five separate lenders requesting what to do with the refund amounts, still not knowing exactly how they will process it or when. We had to send the checks regardless of if we could just go into a local office and after it arrives in the mail can take 7-10 business days to process, not counting the refund amount.
We know that to meet qualifications that Rocket Mortgage needs to verify that the accounts are paid, but with today's technology there has to be a better way to pay them instantly, just like we do online. Either Rocket Mortgage could electronically pay them, or the amount could be deposited into our bank account, and we could pay them in minutes, not weeks! We could have easily paid them and sent verification of the accounts being paid to Rocket Mortgage.
Gary and the team were satisfactory with the loan process, but for this reason we do not recommend Rocket Mortgage for a bill consolidation loan. Rocket Mortgage was very insistent when it came to accurate and timely responses but really failed when it came to our goal of quickly paying off the loan amounts and consolidating without incurring any more interest charges, past due amounts and caused way too much work and worry on our part figuring out how to forward these unnecessary paper checks.Read MoreRead Less
