As first-time homebuyers, we had a lot of questions and a lot of nerves, but Jodie never made us feel like we were asking too much. She made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth, manageable, and even exciting. What stood out most was how genuinely caring and invested she was in helping our family. We never felt like “just another client.” She was responsive, reassuring, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we understood our options and felt supported through every part of the process. You can tell she truly cares about the people she works with, and that meant so much to us during such a huge milestone in our lives.Because of Jodie, buying our first home became such a positive and memorable experience. We are so grateful for her guidance, her encouragement, and the way she helped turn something that felt intimidating into something so special. I will give one star, because the system will not allow me to give zero stars. Christian lied to me from the beginning and refused to listen and respond to me in a timely manner. In the beginning Christian presented a loan package that was affordable, without knowing that I had various concessions and prospective grants. In the beginning Christian presented a loan package that was affordable, without knowing that I had various concessions and prospective grants. During the review process I would email Christian, text him, and leave voice messages about my loan, and he would not respond. He sold me a lie of sticking with my closing date, as I transferred from another lender. He lied about that as well. My children and I and my two dogs drove from Michigan to Florida on his lie of closing on a certain date, only to discover that he had dropped the ball and had not worked on my loan, nor had he been reading the emails and other communications I had sent to him. My children and I had to live in hopes for almost three weeks...then he gets an exposed for his lack of work, and tells me that my loan is no longer available to me. The amount of stress and financial stress this man was allowed to cause was horrible. I spent well over 5k, providing for my children, myself, and my dogs for those weeks. I ended up closing for more than what he promised. He is a liar. He was allowed to deceive and lie to me. He made my home buying process scary and horrible. This is the third time that I have done something with 'Rocket Mortgage that has involved multiple phone conversations. My most recent pho1ne friend is Jacob Montano.
Jacop fiirst called me about the lowered interest rates that would be to my favor to refinance. Later in our phone friendship, I was looking at extensive dental bills for my husband and myself. Jacop fiirst called me about the lowered interest rates that would be to my favor to refinance. Later in our phone friendship, I was looking at extensive dental bills for my husband and myself. Also, we were considering at buying a new car.
I kept telling Jacob to keep calling me back while waiting for the right abount of our potential loan. I, also, had to get over pneumonia which required further delays. I am so glad that Jacob was faithful in keeping in touch and did not think that I was just wasting his time with my delay tactics.
Finally, we were successful in acquiring my new loan. Jacob called me to tell me just what was going on and what to expect and what was aactually occurring or needed to be done. I am visually impaired as of eighteen years ago, and I sometimes felt that my questions, comments and actions were quite juvenile on my part. As a retired educator, I appreciated that Jacob never showed impatience or ridicule. I bet that he did not even roll his eyes-- like my husband!!
My great sorrow is that my phone friend is no longer in my life. Maybe I'll think of some reasons to call him.
Thank you Rocket Mortgage for having such a considerate, compationate and competent employees such as Jacob.
