Currently have a 2.75 interest rate through Rocket Mortgage on a 15 year fixed rate; Dave tried to "Save" me money by offering me a 30 year fixed at 5.375% rate on a 30 year fixed. I would have been paying over 200,000 EXTRA over the additional 15 years he lumped in--but he was decreasing my monthly payment by $200... Still totaling up over 200,000 extra over 15 year.
